DLI Engineering Limited comprises of DLI Precision Engineering Limited, Davro Precision Engineering (Washington) and Hilton Precision, companies formed some 40 years ago to service North East based International manufacturing companies, such as Philips, Rolls Royce, Domnick Hunter and Caterpillar.

 

DLI Engineering Limited now forms part of the DLI Group Limited.  Manufacturing takes place from a 20,000 sq/ft freehold site at Trimdon Grange, Co. Durham.

This company within the group focusses on major trade sectors including Oil and Gas, Filtration, Specialist Automotive, Defence as well as more general commercial sectors.  This can be coupled with significant Research and Development initiatives, often in partnership with Universities, linked to engineering.

 

Investment in Software Support, to include HSMWORKS Ultimate, engineering and project planning, tooling and fixture design, allows the company to be well respected for its engineering challenging and problem solving mind set.

This division also features a branded range of Hilton components for the Food Industry.

The DLI Group operate utilising a fully integrated Supply Chain Management System.  The system, Progress Plus, gives full traceability for materials and parts, Shopfloor Data Capture, Manufacturing Scheduling, Estimating, Quality Management, Stock Control, Sales, Purchase and Works Order Management.
